Every Wednesday I plan on either finding or building a map to showcase here. This week is the Artic Divide. This is one of my favorite maps of all time. It has also been excepted into the Battlfields of Valhalla at heroscapers.com. I like this map because it limits a normally dominant range army because of all the line of sight blockers. This map also limits the effectivness of normally dominant figures like Major Q9. In my experiences he hasn't performed outstandingly on this map. Figures like Krug or Mimring aren't very effective either. I think this is mainly do to how much the glaciers divide the map. One figure can't really run around the battlefield dealing out destruction. You must spread out your range and evenly distribute your forces to be sucessful.
