Monday's Feature Figure

Well, its Monday again and time for another feature figure. This week the feature figure is Tor-Kul-Na. I have recently played a couple of games with him and his exceptional performance inspired me to write a feature post about him. He has killed Nilfliem and Q9 easily in both games. I think the Nagrubs with Tor-Kul-Na is one of the most deadly combos in the game. I have four squads of Nagrubs but I think you must have at least 3 squads to preform at the top level with this combo. I haven't tried less than 3 squads with Tor-Kul-Na yet but I have played with 4 squads and they were exceptional and I always had plenty in reserve. With 3 squads I only had 1 or 2 at the end of the game.

I think he is emerging as a very effective Q9 counter but I also think he can do much more than that. His trample stomp is deadly against squads. You can tear through a hero's guard with trample stomp then nail the hero with a powerful attack of 6. With his crew of Nagrubs, Tor-Kul-Na can stand up and exchange blows with anyone in the game and still have enough life left to take on another deadly hero because he is constantly healed by the Nagrubs. I may eventually write more about Tor-Kul-Na as I play with him even more but he is certainly emerging as one of my favorite figures.

Nice Blog - how could I not love it - it is all about heroscape - just way to cool - thanks for sharing!

I have only played against stumpy, and took him down with range fairly easily - and keeping my guys well away from each other ( key IMO ) - he only had 2 grub units with him and played them wrong, so I will ahve to give him try and see how he does. Sounds like the game with your dad was a lot of fun.
